Wholesale Face Mask Buying Guide

Buyer guide

Turn a product search into a clear purchasing brief

Choose the style, review a sample and write down the order conditions before confirming a bulk purchase. A clear brief makes quotations easier to compare and reduces open questions.

This guide covers sourcing enquiries for non-medical disposable masks and PP nonwoven strip caps. It separates confirmed order details from the specifications you still need to verify.

Mask styles to compare before preparing a wholesale order

Identify the product and the intended use

Begin with a product link or sample reference. Our current mask listings cover flat, 3D, 4D, 5D, 94-style and KN95-labelled styles. The cap listing covers a PP nonwoven strip cap.

A style name is a starting point for discussion. Confirm dimensions, construction, material details and any required documentation for the exact model. The 3D, 4D and 5D names should not be used as a ranking of tested performance.

For a KN95-related requirement, identify the exact model and required supporting documents. A 94-style product name alone does not establish KF94 certification.
Compare the listed mask products

Use a sample to agree what will be supplied

Ask which sample corresponds to the model and specification under quotation. Check the physical dimensions, visible construction, colour, seams and ear loops or elastic, then review the proposed packing.

For custom work, clarify whether the sample represents the base product, an artwork proof or the final approved custom version. These are different approval points.

  1. Record the product name or model and the sample version.
  2. Compare the sample with the written specification and intended use requirements.
  3. List any changes and ask for the revised details in writing.
  4. Keep the approved reference with the final order specification.

Our sample preparation reference is 3–5 days. Confirm current availability, charges, freight and the starting point for that timing when requesting your sample.

Order typeQuantity discussionWhat to confirm
Regular orderMinimum quantity starts at 1,000 pieces.Available style, specification, colour, packing and current production schedule.
OEM / private labelCustom quantities are agreed for the project.Quantity per design or colour, printing, packaging and sample approval requirements.
Repeat orderRefer to the previously agreed product and new order quantity.Any change to specification, artwork, pack format, destination or timing.

Ask how a total order is divided across styles, colours and packaging versions. A total quantity by itself may not define the production requirement.

Mask products and colour reference papers for an OEM brief

Agree artwork and packaging before production

For branded orders, send the logo, preferred placement, colour reference and packaging requirements. Confirm the usable print area and production method for the chosen model.

Make the approved artwork version easy to identify. Packaging information should cover the required pack format, quantities and printed details, together with any buyer or destination requirements.

Review the OEM enquiry process

Give production and transport their own dates

Our regular production reference is 7–10 days. Confirm the current schedule and the event that starts it, such as final specification or order confirmation. Custom production timing is agreed for the project.

Production time and arrival time cover different parts of an order. Provide your destination country and delivery location, then ask what is included in the quoted transport arrangement. Discuss freight, export documents and applicable import requirements separately.

Before comparing freight quotations, confirm the final carton quantity, dimensions and gross weight. Request actual packing data for the agreed product rather than using an assumed carton size.
