Start with the quantity for the order you actually need

Qianniu’s regular-order minimum starts at 1,000 pieces. Custom face mask quantities are agreed for the project. When you request a logo, printed design, colour change or packaging adjustment, ask for the minimum that applies to that exact combination.

For a buyer, the useful question is how the quantity connects with the product and the written order conditions. A total of several styles, colours and packing versions may involve separate requirements. Prepare that breakdown before treating a headline minimum as a complete purchasing plan.

This guide helps importers, distributors and private label buyers prepare a clear MOQ discussion for non-medical mask sourcing. It does not set a universal custom minimum. The quotation and agreed specification should identify the quantities and conditions for your own order.

Define what one order contains

Begin with the product style or product link. Qianniu’s current mask listings include flat, 3D, 4D, 5D, 94-style and KN95-labelled products. Confirm the exact model rather than relying on a broad style name. Dimensions, construction, required documents and packing should be discussed for that model.

Next, describe the changes you want. An enquiry for the listed product with agreed standard packing differs from an enquiry that includes several logo designs and a new packing brief. Both can be described clearly, but the second needs more decisions before a custom minimum can be confirmed.

A useful quantity schedule names the product, colour, design, pack format and quantity on each line. If you expect a repeat purchase, explain that separately. An estimated future volume should not be presented as a confirmed quantity for the first order.

The word “regular” describes the purchasing route. Confirm actual availability and production timing in your enquiry. It should not be used as an assumption that the requested quantity is immediately ready for shipment.

For a custom project, keep the total quantity and the quantity per version visible. Ask which requirements apply to each version, and record the supplier’s answer with the quotation. That is the basis for deciding whether the first order fits your purchasing plan.

Show the quantity split before comparing quotations

A quantity split can include several mask styles, colours or printed versions. Buyers often begin with a combined total because that is how they plan their budget. A supplier also needs to understand how that total is divided into the products to be made and packed.

Use a simple list with one row per version. Include the product reference, colour request, logo or artwork reference, requested packing and estimated quantity. Mark undecided details as questions in the enquiry. A missing decision is easier to resolve when it is visible.

If you want several versions, ask for the MOQ and quotation basis for each one. Then ask how the combined order will be packed and identified. This makes the comparison more useful than asking several suppliers for a price against a total that each interprets differently.

Use samples to settle the product before the volume

A sample can help confirm what a product name means in practice. Review the dimensions, visible construction, seams, colour and ear loops or elastic. Check the proposed packing as well. Keep the sample reference connected to the model and written specification under discussion.

For custom work, identify the purpose of each approval. A base product sample, an artwork proof and a final custom sample can answer different questions. Ask which version is available and what remains to be approved before confirming a production order.

Qianniu gives a sample preparation reference of 3–5 days. Confirm current availability, charges, delivery arrangements and the starting point for that timing. Ask about any separate custom sampling work you require. Sample fees and freight should be agreed explicitly.

For a fuller order sequence, read the wholesale face mask buying guide. Use it to connect the sample review with the final product and packing specification.

Describe customization as a brief that can be reviewed

For a logo or printed design, send the artwork or a visual reference, proposed placement and colour requirements. The selected mask shape affects the design discussion. Confirm the feasible print area and method for the actual model before treating the artwork as approved.

For packaging, explain the pack format and the information you need printed. Include any requirements from your customer, sales channel or intended market. Ask for the final packing quantity and specifications in the quotation rather than assuming a standard box or individual pack.

Keep each artwork version identifiable. When a design changes, send the revised reference and ask what the change affects. Quantity, sampling, packing and timing should remain connected to the same approved version. A clear brief helps prevent different versions from appearing in separate email threads.

The OEM and private label page lists the information to prepare for a custom discussion. Available options and custom quantities are confirmed for the chosen project.

Confirm the schedule attached to the quantity

Quantity is one part of an order plan. Product confirmation, artwork approval, packing decisions and production readiness also need their own agreed dates. Explain your required arrival date early so the discussion can identify the steps that must come before shipment.

Qianniu’s regular production reference is 7–10 days. Confirm the current schedule and the event that starts it for your order. Custom timing is agreed per project. An earlier reference for a regular product should not be carried into a new custom order automatically.

Production timing and arrival timing describe different stages. Provide the destination and ask what the transport quotation includes. Once packing is agreed, request the actual carton count, dimensions and gross weight needed for freight planning.

If you are considering a phased purchase, describe the quantities and proposed dates, then ask whether that arrangement can be supported. Treat it as a request to review, with quantities and any conditions confirmed in writing.

Compare the complete quotation basis

A minimum quantity alone cannot tell you the complete cost of a purchase. Ask what the quotation includes for the specified product, printing, packaging, samples and transport. Also confirm the currency, quotation validity and the order terms that need agreement.

Compare quotations using the same product and quantity breakdown. Check that each supplier has answered the same requirements. When a quote leaves an item open, ask for clarification before treating it as a final comparison.

For repeat orders, refer to the approved product and packing version. Confirm any change in quantity, destination, artwork or requested timing. This keeps a reorder connected to its real requirements rather than to an earlier headline minimum.

Prepare a short MOQ enquiry

Your first message can be brief if the important information is organized. Use the product link, state the estimated quantity and explain which details are still open. Add a separate line for each style, colour or design that you want quoted.

  • Product: the style, model or product link, with the intended use.
  • Quantity: the estimated total and its split across each version.
  • Customization: the colour, logo, printed design and packing requests.
  • Samples: which product or custom approval you want to review first.
  • Destination: the country, delivery location and required date.
  • Open requirements: dimensions, construction, documentation or other details still to be confirmed.

Ask for the applicable regular or custom minimum, the quotation basis and the next approval step. Keep the response with the relevant product and artwork references so it can be reviewed as one purchasing record.

Check the agreement before placing the order

Before confirming, make sure the quantity schedule matches the final product and packing specification. The quotation should identify the version being supplied and the conditions that affect cost and timing. Resolve open questions with the supplier before relying on an earlier estimate.

Identify who approves the sample and artwork within your team. If a distributor and brand owner review different parts, collect their requirements before confirming the quantity. Keep one approval record linked to the purchase and its final product reference.

Review any product documents required by your buyer or intended market for the exact model. A style name or product photograph does not establish tested performance or certification. Keep those checks separate from the MOQ discussion, then connect the confirmed requirements in the order details.

To begin, send Qianniu a regular or custom order enquiry. Include the style, quantity split and destination, and explain the customization you want reviewed. That gives the team a concrete basis for discussing the minimum and quotation for your project.
